WITH YOU, I WILL SHATTER NATIONS (2)

God will not call you names that you are not; He will not send you on mission impossible despite the benefits you think you will derive; He will not ask you to do what He will not physically and divinely enable you to do, and He will not defend you where He has not sent you. Every mission of God is followed by His enabling grace when you apply faith, diligence, and walk in obedience to all His commands and precepts. Whenever God calls you, there will be an obstacle seeking to hinder you from hearing and hiding His call. Wherever God sends you, there will be an obstacle seeking to stop you or render you unsuccessful, but in all of the obstacles that will ever rise against you, God says you are His battle-ax not only to overcome them but also to bring them down from their high positions, shut them from afflicting others, and stop them from operating not only around you but in all nations. God says with you, I will shatter nations.

Abraham heard when God called and when God spoke to him; he understood the message, the demands, and he set his heart, his feet, and focus his complete faithfulness to obey and follow all the instructions that were given to him. Though God spoke and Abraham heard and was ready to comply, he had challenges and obstacles on his way of obedience. But he overcame all of them by the power of faithfulness and obedience. In God’s conversation with Abraham, God told him in Genesis 12:2-3; ‘I will make you a great nation’ and He did; He told him ‘I will bless you and He did; ‘I will make your name great and He did; ‘you shall be a blessing’ and He did; ‘I will bless those who bless you and He did; ‘I will curse him who curse you and He did, and God promised him ‘in you all families of the earth shall be blessed’ and He is willing to fulfill that promise in your life today and right now. God says with you, I will shatter nations.

It was through your belief, not your works, ideas, wisdom, or that of any man that you became a Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ and it will also be through belief that you will be His battles and instruments and be able to shatter nations according to His plans and desires for your life. God has big plans for you irrespective of the obstacles confronting you right now and your current location, age, and gender. Abraham believed God to become a great man, to become blessed, to bless those who blessed him, to curse those who cursed him and to become a blessing to the families and all that He said to him. Your belief can change your expectations and what you believe will bring a change in your life and circumstances. Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel had a battle against a welled equipped and trained nation, but in their despair, “So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20. In this ongoing battle in your life, in your family, in your profession, and your current place of work, you will come out in victory and prosper according to desires of God.

This obstacle will not destroy you even though that is their ultimate aim and desire. Obstacles in and on his ways and family were not able to destroy Abraham or destroy God’s plans for his life then or in his future that God had destined.

The obstacles in your life are not ordinary, they are because you had a dream, a purpose to live for, and a desire to see those dreams, purpose, and desires fulfilled. The sooner you truly defined your dreams, your purpose, and your desires, the sooner you will be able to identify the obstacles and address them adequately. Though obstacles are hindrances, they are not insurmountable and undefeatable; they may be very huge but their foundation is shallow and weak through faith in the name Jesus Christ; though they may seem unmovable, they will definitely move by the power of the cross and blood of Jesus Christ. You can and you will overcome them. God will not leave you in that obstacle and He will not allow them to defeat you. For Prayers Click here
