THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, IS YOUR GOD

There are many factors and things all around you today that can lead you to being referred to as successful and has the power to enhance your level of achievement in life, but there is none as powerful, assuring and peaceful despite challenges from the pit of hell as God’s leadings and making you one through your personal decision to obey and to follow all of His words in every situation, in every profession and in every location.

I am often asked the question, why does God always reward a lazy person? My answer is always simple, God does not reward any lazy person neither does He encourage laziness of any kind irrespective of prevailing situation and location. Being unable to get something tangible and very profitable doing after gaining a specific experience through formal or informal education is not laziness. It is the total giving up on yourself, on making more efforts because of your past failed attempts that will make people look at you as being lazy and unproductive. But if you e keep trusting in your God and keep pushing ahead through those obstacles, He will open the door for you. That is what I call the God of your success.

Excellent and relevant knowledge, hard work, the acquisition of wisdom and necessary experience are all good and acceptable, but these four alone will not bring you to the level of success you require in life, neither is trusting God alone able. You will definitely need a total cd with all the combination to get to where you want to be.

Abraham was a man like all of us, but distinguishes himself from the rest of us when he heard the word of the promises of God and decided to invest the rest of his life and energy in believing those words, pursuing those words, trusting that all of the words can be fulfilled, working with God in anticipation of the words being fulfilled in him in his life time, and following every instruction, accepting every admonition, and accepting to practice absolute obedience to every word of God to him until he sees all the promises fulfilled.

God will never ask you to do what He knows you are not capable or well equipped to finish. He equips those who accept His promises and give themselves whole heartedly to accomplish them despite the time and the hindrances. Whatever He asks you to do personally or with others, He has the absolute confidence in you that you will succeed. God has called you to succeed.

“Now in Haran the Lord said to Abram, Go for yourself for your own advantage away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you with abundant increase of favors and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing dispensing good to others. And I will bless those who bless you, who confer prosperity or happiness upon you and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed and by you they will bless themselves. So Abram departed, as the Lord had directed him; and Lot his nephew went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the persons, servants that they had acquired in Haran, and they went forth to go to the land of Canaan. When they came to the land of Canaan” Genesis 12:1-5

“Thus Abraham believed in and adhered to and trusted in and relied on God, and it was reckoned and placed to his account and credited as righteousness, as conformity to the divine will purpose, thought, and action. Know and understand that it is really the people who live by faith who are the true sons of Abraham.” Galatians 6:6-7

“And Abram believed in, trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness, right standing with God.” Genesis 15:6. As the Lord God did bless Abram in His obedience, He will also bless you. That same God is your God. Prayers Click here
