Mountain has its function and purpose to fulfill but they were not destined to be an everlasting obstacle in your life; they were not made to deny you the destiny that God had destined for you; they were not designed by God to poss a threat to your dreams, to your visions and to all of your desires; they were not designed to be the place you will end your journey and give up pursuing your divine goals; they were not designed to be the place you will remain in regret and be crying the rest of your life. Every mountain that is standing against your onward movement will not stand again and will not restrict you again.

When Moses left the house of Pharaoh in Egypt to the house of Laban, he took the job of caring for Laban’s sheep and use to take them beside the mountains for food. On one of those days, God showed wonders on the mountain and Moses decided to turn around and watch and when he did, he heard the voice of God calling him to go back to Israel and address Pharaoh and to lead the children of Israel out of bondage to a place He had prepared for them. God told Moses precisely that the mountain he was seeing will be a place he and the children of Israel will come and worship Him when they come out of Egypt. He did not tell them that they will be stocked there after they left Egypt; He did not tell them they will spend days walking around it aimlessly; He did not tell them they will regret coming to the mountain and He did not tell them the mountain will be a place of their final destiny. Whatsoever the mountain is doing against your dreams, your visions, your desires, your prayers, your efforts and your labor, this month, you will overcome them; this month you will succeed and move beyond them and this month, they will be at your back. You have endured this mountain too long; you have wept on this mountain for too long and you have dwell on this one mountain several months or years now, but your God is giving you the victory you need; He is giving you the success you desire; and He is taking you over and above it for good.

You may have been standing before this great mountains all this year, but through God’s grace and power, you will pass over them this month; you may been resisted and frustrated by several mountains since the beginning of this year, but this month those mountains will give way for you to achieve your desires and dreams. You have learnt a lot from the mountains; you have seen a lot in the mountains; you have experienced a lot from the mountains; it is time to move beyond them; it is time to put them behind and to advance to greater things that God had destined for you. God did not bring you to this mountain to be defeated, God’s intent for you is to overcome all these mountain, to have the dominion, and to have the victory.

“So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt. But Moses said to God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? And God said, I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain. Moses said to God, suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, what is his name? Then what shall I tell them? God said to Moses, I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I am has sent me to you. God also said to Moses, Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob has sent me to you. This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, The Lord, the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt. And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus 3:10-17.
