“WHY DO I WAIT THIS LONG DEAR LORD? No. II”

You are not alone in waiting, praying, fasting and expecting something old or new from God just because you believed in His promises; you will never be alone waiting and God will not deny you the joy of receiving as you wait for the fulfillment of any of His promises that will greatly impart your life positively. It is in the scripture that Sarah waited for quite a long time for the promised child Isaac. The waiting periods of Sarah turn to days and years of anger, desperation, frustrations, and seeking alternatives, but despite all she did; God granted her the promise at a time and age she had given up hope and all expectations. Hanna waited and prayed with tears and in that period, she showed anger to herself and jealousy against the other woman, but at the end she was blessed with seven more children after. Rachel also waited and at the end God gave her Joseph and Benjamin, as God rewarded her and others for waiting so will He reward you.

Note, there are no mistakes under the heavens that any man had made that cannot be fix by the Almighty God; there is no one who in all sincerity had surrendered to the Almighty God who will not receive total forgiveness and who will not be restored and made right again. The blood of Jesus Christ is not and will never and had never been in vain. There are no mistakes on your part and there is none from God’s side also; there is no way that any of your known, unknown, past or current mistakes which had been forgiven is responsible for your waiting. God has a plan and no one can change that plan; God has a purpose and no one can change that purpose; God has a schedule and no one can and will be able to change, to add or remove.

The waiting time for all things are not always sweet but the end result are always far rewarding and rejoicing than we began; through grace and God’s ability, you will end your waiting period for the things that God had promised you, that will guarantee you peace, and bring the blessings of your dreams and visions with a greater rejoicing. God is not holding back His promises and He is not punishing you by making you wait for the blessings. I know many waiting for their true and promised spouses; many waiting for their promised conception after marriage; waiting for the day and time their marriage will be better; waiting, praying and fasting for promotions in their office; waiting for the day and time their finances will improve; waiting and fasting for their properties that were forcefully taken; waiting earnestly and praying for the day they will be free from condemnation, from loneliness, from living alone, walking and praying alone; waiting for the moment they will become the victor and not the victim; waiting for the day that God will give them their dreams and crown their efforts. Truly, many Christians are waiting and I know through grace in the finished work of Jesus Christ that wait will never be in vain.

As you seek and wait on the Lord for all of His promises to you, this is what He will says and will do for you: “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands. Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.” Isaiah 55:6-13. Click here for prayer
