“This is what the Lord says, He who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, He who brings out the chariot and the horse, the army and the mighty warrior, they will lie down together, they will not rise again; they have been extinguished, they have been put out like a lamp’s wick. Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field will honor Me, Jackals and ostriches because I have givens waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. The people whom I formed for Myself will make known My praise.” Isaiah 43:16-21

It was a joyful thing when Jabez saw something new in his life despite his earlier struggles and his parent's inability to have changes they desired in their lives; it was a joyful thing when Jabez experienced the blessings his parents only desired but never had; it was a joyful thing for Jabez to live the rest of his life knowing God had answered his prayers, granted his request, and he was living to experience it and also testify of it. “Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, saying, Oh that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my border, property, and Your hand would be with me, and You would keep me from evil so that it does not hurt me. And God granted his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:10. What joy awaits you when God does something new for you right now, when God does something very perfect for you despite your shortcomings, and when God does something that will forever change your life for the very best ever? Oh God, do something new now.

It was a joyful thing for Job to experience restoration and to blessed much more than he ever was despite what Satan did to him. It was a joyful thing for Job to see and to have his health restored fully after years of pains; it was a joyful thing for Job to have children again and see them grow up before his eyes after Satan through his wicked acts had killed all his children previously. It was a joyful thing for Job to his wealth restored, his business restored and his life rewarded by the Lord he believed and served. it was a joyful thing for Job to return to his own house after years of homelessness. It was a joyful thing for Job to see his family restored to him after years of loneliness and rejection and condemnation. “The Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house, and they consoled him and comforted him over all the distressing adversities that the Lord had brought on him. And each one gave him a piece of money, and each a ring of gold. And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yokes of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. He had seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first daughter Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch. In all the land there were found no women so fair as the daughters of Job, and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations. So Job died, an old man and full of days.” Job 42:10-17

This is the promise and this is what the Lord says, He will make a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters for you to pass through; He will bring out the chariot, the horse, the army, and the mighty warrior to fight your battle, the weapons of your enemies will not be used against you again; they will be extinguished, and put out like a lamp’s wick. He is about to do a new thing for you now and it will spring forth, and you will be aware of it? He will even put a road in the wilderness for you, Rivers in the desert to provide for you. He will give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to you. Prayer Request Click here
