"CHANGE THIS SITUATION OH LORD"

Post date: Apr 24, 2018 3:48:17 AM

Though there are things to cry about, cries will never solve the problem. Despite your fears about today and the future, God had called you out to succeed in something. Despite the troops rising to confront you, causing delays and frustrations, God said you will overcome all. Despite the duration of sorrows, pains, unpaid services or rewards, confusions, joblessness, single living, evil and discouraging words from all corners, God definitely saved you to stand out and show His glory in the land of the living. The only reason you should not remain the same is in the power we have through the cross and the word of God. Christ died and rose to open the door for your spiritual and physical success. If after salvation you still remain the same, go on your knees and pray until the change comes, the cross of Christ can never, and will never be in vain.

There are many good things inside of you waiting to be recognized, explored, and translated into profiting actions, but you want to remain crying of being confused, empty, without a direction and a path to follow in life. Go inside of yourself not in self-pity to unearth the good things in you through the mirror of the word of God and begin using them. One thing I have come to realize and learn to avoid in life is that no amount of cries and self-pity will ever change your situation, rather they help push you further down into depression, unwanted agonies, and more discomforting confusions and anger and pains. God did not create anyone empty and will never watch over you being washed away in fear and backwardness as a result of emptiness in thoughts and actions. He did not say you will remain in your failure despite their numbers. You are now as valuable and relevant to Him as you were when you were conceived in your mother’s womb.

When Lazarus sickness resulted in his death, his two sisters Mary and Martha cried their heart out for him, close friends and neighbors joined in the cries, but none of the cries was able to change the situation, none gave them the comfort they needed and the peace they deserved. Jesus Christ was called in only to heal, but far beyond their expectations in calling Him in, He completely turned the situation, He gave them an unexpected change and comfort that was far beyond their wildest imagination. That same God is the One you serve today; His presence will always make a difference despite the pains when following His words. It was not the cries of the sisters or that of the friends that changed the situation, it was the presence of Christ Jesus and the willingness of the sisters to drop their doubts and follow the words of Christ Jesus that brought the change they did not expect to see in their family.

“Now a certain man named Lazarus was ill. He was of Bethany, the village where Mary and her sister Martha lived. Our friend Lazarus is at rest and sleeping, but I am going there that I may awaken him out of his sleep. So when Jesus arrived, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. And a considerable number of the Jews had gone out to see Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. Martha then said to Jesus, Master, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in Me, although he may die, yet he shall live; Jesus said, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, exclaimed, But Lord, by this time he throws off an offensive odor, for he has been dead four days. Jesus said to her, did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?  When He had said this, He shouted with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out.” John 10:1-44

Did you know that Christ Jesus who lives in you is the same who raised Lazarus up, changed the situation of Mary and Martha and He is right now willing to also change that situation you have been crying about. It is not the cries that change situations, it is the word of God we believe, the commandment of God we obey and acted consistently that changes situations. God will change that situation for His glory; change it Oh Lord. For prayer Click here
