OH LORD, SEND MY REWARD

Post date: Jun 16, 2014 4:00:41 AM

Thing may be quite tough with you right now as you hold on to God, but even in that tough situation, God has not forgotten that He had saved you to inherit a blessing, the fullness of that blessing will definitely come on a date set aside by Him for you. Your dreams of seeing and living in better days may have been delayed for too long, but God had not forgotten that He gave you those dreams and expectations for good. The keepers of hell may be troubling your life day and night, but God is still in control of your life and has not forgotten you. The same group may be troubling your spouse and children, delaying your marriage and your conception, troubling your peace, job and family, yet in all their gathering and wishes against you, God has not forgotten you. You may be poor and homeless, without food and adequate clothing, begging and going shamefully naked, sick and without consolation, yet in all your troubles, God had not forgotten that His seed in inside of you. He will definitely remember you and reward you.

Despite the passing of days and years, God will never forget any of your good deeds great or small, even when men forget them. He will never forget your humility in service to Him and to men; He will never forget your unrestrained love even in the presence of fear and hatred; He will never forget the risk you have passed through and the suffering you have endured to get to where you are now in Him; He will never forget your sacrifices, your patience, your waiting on Him and all your cries and prayers. There is nothing about you that God had forgotten, and because He has not forgotten, He has set up a date, a time and a place to reward you.

“What reward or recognition did we ever give Mordecai for this? The king asked. His attendants replied, nothing has been done for him. Who is that in the outer court? The king inquired. As it happened, Haman had just arrived in the outer court of the palace to ask the king to impale Mordecai on the pole he had prepared. So the attendants replied to the king, Haman is out in the court. Bring him in, the king ordered. So Haman came in, and the king said, what should I do to honor a man who truly pleases me? Haman thought to himself, whom would the king wish to honor more than me?  So he replied, if the king wishes to honor someone, he should bring out one of the king’s own royal robes, as well as a horse that the king himself has ridden, one with a royal emblem on its head. Let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials. And let him see that the man whom the king wishes to honor is dressed in the king’s robes and led through the city square on the king’s horse. Have the official shout as they go; this is what the king does for someone he wishes to honor. Excellent, the king said to Haman. Quick, Take the robes and my horse, and do just as you have said for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the gate of the palace. Leave out nothing you have suggested. So Haman took the robes and put them on Mordecai, placed him on the king’s own horse, and led him through the city square, shouting, this is what the king does for someone he wishes to honor.” Esther 6:3-11

On the set date, time and place, when God begins to reward you, it will not be in the secret of your home, but openly for the world to see and give God the praise and recognition as the God who rewards. Mordecai’s good deed and loyalty to the king was not rewarded in the secret of the palace; at the command of the king, the reward ceremony was organized and announced by his arch enemy openly for the entire city to hear, know and celebrate. God is setting up a unique date, time and place for your reward and celebration, hold on in faith and trust Him absolutely.

Because you were not rewarded yesterday does not mean you have been forgotten and will not be rewarded today or tomorrow. Because you are yet to be married does not mean you will never be married; because you were dismissed in your job does not mean you will never have another job. Because you are yet to make a profit, does not mean you will never make one. God will reward you in a better way soon. For more prayers, Click here
