Humans were born to face and overcome obstacles. The obstacles in your life may be real, huge, and old, but you can overcome them. They may have been there for generations, affecting almost everyone in your family, neighborhood, and nation, but they can be destroyed and made ineffective. You are not the past generation in your family, through salvation and grace, you are different and you should be the one to make a difference in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we serve. Yes! You have been chosen through salvation and given grace beyond measure to do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus Christ, and God will not allow you to fail Him and you should not fail yourself in His presence. You did not choose Him, but He had chosen you, you did not choose the obstacles but they have chosen to afflict you and God is not calling on you as His battle Ax to rise and do something real and significant. “You are my battle-ax and sword says the Lord. With you, I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms. With you, I will shatter armies destroying the horse and rider, the chariot and charioteer. With you, I will shatter men and women, old people and children, young men and maidens. With you, I will shatter shepherds and flocks, farmers and oxen, captains and officers.” Jeremiah 50:20-23

God did not create anyone without a purpose, without a dream, without a desire, and the devil will never leave anyone to succeed in those purposes without overcoming the hindering obstacles on their path. God did not make anyone without the ability to reason correctly, without the ability to be productive, without the ability to reproduce, and He did not make anyone one to be a failure. God will not stop the devil from putting obstacles on your path, but He can stop the obstacles from derailing His plans for your life if you will seek Him and follow His words. Because of His good intention for you, He made you perfect in the beginning, He also desires your success, happiness and joy always, and He is willing and quite able to intervene adequately and appropriately in your life in order to bring His original purpose and intent in your life to light.

Obstacles exist when you realize you have a dream, a desire, and a purpose in this life to pursue. Obstacles become big when you put your heart in the dream and step out in faith with the right intent in the right place to actualize those dreams, desires, and purposes. Everyone has a dream and a desire; everyone is busy doing something that will bring them into their expected happy day and time, and everyone is experiencing obstacles. What you do in time of, and with any of the obstacles in your life matters to your success, your family, and to God in many ways. While God is waiting and watching for you to overcome, Satan is watching and waiting for you to fail.

Whatever form the obstacles may take in everyone’s life, in every profession, in every location, age and gender, obstacles are never desired but they come, never wished, never prayed for, never produces anything good, and will always be a hindrance to expected results in all ventures despite all good efforts. There is nothing as dangerous, and time-wasting as allowing your self-generated obstacles to remain while struggling to overcome the ones that are external.

Before you will ever succeed in overcoming external obstacles, you will first have to overcome the internal obstacle. These internal obstacles will hinder you from overcoming all of the external obstacles; uncontrolled and frequent hatred, anger, un-forgiveness, malice, grudges, and any other self-indulged evil practices. “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye, when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite first get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye” Matthew 7:3-5. “Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one” Matthew 6:11-13. Those obstacles are no hindrances to God. He wants to use you in removing them. For Prayers Click here
