IT WAS BEAUTIFUL FOR HANNAH

In ending well, God did not only answer the prayer of Hannah by granting her request for a child, He changed her life entirely. He changed her physical image among her people and the world; He changed her words and thoughts about herself and her situation, gave her a new vision for the future, and renewed her hope and desire for many more years. He gave her a place in history and in His kingdom, He gave her a song and took sadness away from her forever. Despite the year-long pains in your life; despite the delays in having what you truly need in life, despite the lack of peace, the long struggles, and the mounting insults, the Almighty God is still alive and He will give you a happy and beautiful ending. It is on record that all ended well with Hannah after many years of abuse, mounting insults, public humiliations, silent and open cries, family feud, delayed expectations, and uncertainty. It was truly a beautiful ending for her.

The end was in all ways more than everyone including herself expected, it was far more than what her best prayers could offer; far more than her best thoughts or dreams could imagine, and far more than the beliefs of her enemies and tormentors. By the instance of God’s intervention, Hannah’s life was completely changed, her story completely changed, her dignity as a woman restored, and her heart sorrows taken away. God turned her fears and nightmares around for the very best. Hannah ended with a song of praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty God. That was impossible when her sorrows were still taking the best of her time and thoughts. This is true, it is difficult to praise God in bad, hard, and difficult times because your thoughts and expectations are all focused on the hardship and the pains in your life. God is giving you a shift from that bad experience of the past or present into the future He had promised and the glory He had destined for you in peace and in prosperity in Jesus' name.

Nobody gave Hannah a chance, no one thought the best will ever come for her; no one believed she will ever come to have abundance and even surpass others; no one thought she could ever be that intelligent and eloquent in praising God. They thought and believed she will remain a wailer the rest of her life, but God was making something in her that the thoughts and knowledge of men could not unravel until God revealed it for them to see. Oh, my prayer is that God will reveal what He had placed in you for His glory, He will announce you in power and in a way that no power on earth will reverse His announcement in your life. What He did for and in Hannah was beautiful, exciting, and profound. He will do the same for you.

This was the song, the praise, and the thanksgiving. “And Hannah prayed and said: My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies because I rejoice in Your salvation. No one is holy like the Lord, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is the God of knowledge, and by Him, actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and those who stumbled are girded with strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, and the hungry have ceased to hunger. Even the barren has borne seven, and she who has many children has become feeble. The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. The pillars of the earth are the Lord’s and He has set the world upon them. He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; from heaven, He will thunder against them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:1-10. For prayers, Click here
