“THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE INDEFINITE”

The Lord declares; when you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Get this right, whatever you are going through now are temporal, they will never be an indefinite experience for you. “Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had. They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set. And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world. But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, Abba, Father. Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.” Galatians 4:1-7

Though you have suffered lots of injustices in life, this one is not going to be indefinite; though you or your family member had been imprison or are suffering any incarceration or sickness or pains of whatever magnitude, it is not going to be indefinite. Though you have suffered undue delays in many aspirations and desires, you have had uncounted disappointment, frustrations and abuses, their effects and pains on you and on your mind will never remain indefinitely. Though you may have fallen sometimes in the past and regretting those experiences, let it be clear to you right now that you will never remain in that fallen position indefinitely, the reasons for that fall will never hunt you the rest of your life, and their effects will never remain on you indefinitely; though they are plots at various level to frame you in what you are innocent about and you are wondering what will happen to you, know it today that you will not remain in that place and situation indefinitely because God will give you a voice that will set you free;

Though there are some reasons to be sad, unhappy and feel depressed in life, but those reasons will never remain indefinite; there are divine assurance and grace from heaven that will enable you not to remain in your falling situation indefinitely. Though Daniel was found guilty when he was innocent and was destined by men to be killed by the lions, he did not remain indefinitely in the lion’s den because God sent His angels to guard and keep him from being destroyed. Though Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were sentenced by men to die in the furnace of fire through wicked conspiracy, they did not remain indefinitely in that burning furnace because Jesus Christ was there to ensure the fire had no power over them and they were finally taken out alive.

Though Jesus Christ our Lord was humiliated by the soldiers before the cross, that humiliation was not indefinite. Though Pilate did interrogate Him, that interrogation did not last indefinitely; though Christ died for the sin of the world, He did not remain on that cross indefinitely; though He was buried, He did remain in the grave indefinitely, on the third day He rose again to life; and though His garment were taken from Him, He was not naked forever. They may be disaffection in your family or in your job place; they may be some health, finance, and spousal issues in your life and home, they will not be there indefinitely. Though they may be targeting to get you own and out, to put you in situations with your spouse and children, God in His love and mercy will not let those things be there indefinitely, He is turning them to a spring board for your soon to be announced and seen glory. All of God’s children will never remain in any of their shameful and weak situation indefinitely. Israel did not remain under torture, did roam in the wilderness, did not lack food, and were not deprived of their joy indefinitely. For prayers Click here
