MY SOURCE OF COURAGE

You are not a product of statistical and data analysis; neither are you a product of a popular human consensus, you were divinely made, divinely kept alive, given a dream, a vision and kept active till today by the determination of the Almighty and everlasting Father who alone made the entire universe by the power of word and sustained all of His creations by that same power in His words. You are of a divine origin and given grace through salvation to continue enjoying that divine nature and privileges “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them” Genesis 1:26-27

There will always be genuine reasons to be discouraged in life, to give up pursuing that which you have desired, received various trainings, prayed for and worked hard to accomplish for years, that which you have dreamed for, that which you have been promised by God and man, that which you know will change your life, have greater and better impact on your life and personality and that of your family forever.

But irrespective of those genuine reasons you have heard from people within and around you, and those you have researched and read about, those you have seen with your eyes and those you are thinking of right now, there are better reasons to always keep you very hopeful, purposeful, pushing further and setting new records every day, dreaming and desiring good and better things for yourself, working more and hoping more. There are better reasons to keep you very hopeful and looking up joyfully to the day of your promised fulfillment. Remember, you were redeemed by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ to inherit an everlasting promise that has the power to change all things in your life forever. That promise is still very active and effective today for and in you as in the day it was first given.

Let your original source of living, your very beginning before you were conceived in the womb of your mother, before you received your trainings, before you receive the promise from any man, before you become what you are today, be the very source, the greatest and best reason to remain encouraged and hopeful, holding on to the God who made you in His image and likeness.

There are many factors that forces people to quit the race of their life and to remain discouraged. Such as unimagined failure at the point of success, prolonged delays, denials, disappointments, sickness, loneliness, unfaithfulness, lack of cooperation, lack of love, lack of daily motivation, low self-esteem and evaluation, several energy sapping battles in life pursuing just one thing, unfavorable living and working condition and unwelcomed abuses that seeks to damage your reputation and image.

The secret of remaining courageous and achieving the promised victory and successes is not in the absence of several battles and challenging situations in life, it is not in the total absence of unfriendly talks and abuses from people far and near, it is not in the words of human being or indulging in in unholy pleasure, but it is in your holding on to the word of God and His promises to you in the very beginning. His words will never fail and His promises can never be hindered.

In the beginning God told Joshua: “Go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them. Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses. Be strong and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.” Jeremiah 1:2, 3, 6

Though he had many challenges thereafter, he gave his warrant of success to the fact that the Lord had spoken and the Lord had promised. He was a successful and accomplished leader who through the word given to him in the beginning, remained courageous to the end. Pray Click here
