When you walk with God faithfully in obedience, despite your strength and courage, there is absolutely nothing that God will not do to set you free from the powers of darkness, from all the hindering effects of your ancestral and personal past sins and mistakes, from the obscurity, from the neglects by spouse, children, family, friends, colleagues, and from all forms of redundancy in this life. Remember God did not spare His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for the sake of our salvation, and if He did not spare Christ, how will He then spare the enemies of the salvation He freely gave to you by the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ and those resisting your freedom according to His future plans for your life? You have worked hard enough to be where you are right now yet the enemies do not want you to remain there; you have struggled hard to get to the place you want to be in life yet it seems you have not started by the results you are having; you have followed personal revelations and divine dreams and prophesies yet it seems you are still far behind away from the mark of excellence; you have developed ideas and received several advises and have spent time and money to see things begin to happen yet the struggles you are going through seems endless and more difficult every day. But despite what you have seen, what you have known, what you have been told, and what you have ever experienced, God is able to take you beyond the endless struggles and past the dream-world expectations.

Faithfulness to the Almighty God in all things will be an added advantage to you being physically strong and emotionally courageous. Being strong will not eliminate fear and being courageous does not take away pitfalls, but being faithful to God enables Him to go ahead in all your affairs to prepare the way as you go alone on the journey of life. Be strong, be courageous and remain faithful, the things that are impossible when men, are never impossible with God. Despite the increase in knowledge of men, the new breakthroughs and the big dreams of your life, difficult times do come when prevailing knowledge is found inadequate to meet with the challenges and when wealth and the best of life-saving scientific breakthroughs are not enough to address the needs, but with a strong faith in God, His grace will be available to see you through to the other side and your joy will not only be restored but will be full. The God we serve is faithful and He always rewards faithfulness. Jesus Christ clearly told His disciples with intensity; “But Jesus looked at them and said, with people as far as it depends on them, it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Joshua was just being faithful and committed to Moses success in service and unknown to him, God was watching and keeping records of his faithfulness and preparing the way to give him a greater responsibility thereafter that was beyond his thoughts, beyond position he ever desired or prayed for and beyond the will of men for him. God told him “No man will be able to stand before you to oppose you as long as you live. Just as I was present with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and confident and courageous, for you will give these people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do everything in accordance with the entire law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper and be successful wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read and meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified or dismayed, intimidated, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:5-9. For prayers Click here
