THIS CAPTIVITY MUST END, DEAR LORD (1)

Post date: Mar 11, 2019 3:58:22 AM

You may be wondering if God’s plans are working and if they are, what is happening to you and why is that His plans for you are not working in your case? Why is it taking this long to have the experience of His freedom from captivity? Why is my day of restoration different from others and longer than others? Why have I not seen the things forcefully taken from me returned and why is it taking so long for you to wait? Why does my recovery seem so impossible despite my trust and reliance on You? why is my joy delayed or always shortlived? Why is my victory yet to be announced and yet to be seen despite all my years of battle, prayer, fasting, waiting patiently and trusting only on the Lord? Why is my life so rough and the days of my expectations seems endless? These are questions we ask when we feel the weight of our captivity on our mind and in our hearts, when we see our days go by and all our hopes crumbling and diminishing while the enemies and the ungodly are always rejoicing and having something to look to, to show and to convince others in their lives.

I want you to know that the God who saved your soul from spiritual and physical sin from the hands of Satan is that same God who had given you the heart to also desire physical freedom from physical captivity also. He gave you the heart and the desire to keep your hope alive in Him; to remind you that His power can break the yokes and afflictions of captivity; to remind you that there is hope in you despite the works of the devil, there is hope for you in Him and there is still hope for you in this very life and world. The year, the time, and the moment for the captivity to end, the yoke to be broken and your victory seem is here. Irrespective of your pains and the number of years, God is never leaving you alone; He will not leave you in that situation alone; He will not leave you in that captivity alone, and He will not leave you in any of that shame alone and indefinitely. I want you to know that God’s is still working; they are still active and still very effective; they are still powerful enough to meet all His expectations for your life irrespective of the time, the season, your current location and your present situation. His plans for you are everlasting, they are indestructible and untouched by our adversities. At the right time which I pray to come, God will do what He had planned, what He had promised, and what He had desired in His love for you.

Did you know God announced the end of that captivity the day you were saved? Did you know God announced the end of that captivity the day you see its existence in your life by the revelation power of the Holy Spirit? Did you know God announced the end of that captivity the day you experience something quite different from His words and promises and plans for and in your life? Did you know God announced the end of that captivity the day you confess the sin and walk away from the source of that sin that causes captivity? Did you know God had announced your day of freedom from the captivity of loneliness and of idleness and of sadness and of all forms of sorrows? Did you know God had announced your day of liberation long before today? He has not changed His words, His pans, and His announcements concerning you.

Prophet Isaiah speaking concerning what Christ Jesus will do gave this announcement, he was not speaking of himself but of Jesus Christ; “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me to bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted, to proclaim release from confinement and condemnation to the physical and spiritual captives and freedom to prisoners, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance and retribution of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to grant to those who mourn in Zion the following: to give them a turban instead of dust on their heads, a sign of mourning, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.” Isaiah 61:1-3.
