Did you know everything on earth wants to stop you irrespective of your name, faith, gender, wealth, and position.? Your feelings want you to stop; your understanding of events wants you to stop; the lack of new ideas on old pressing issues want to stop you; lack of knowledge wants you to stop, past memories and experiences of failure, suffering, frustration, and hardship want you to stop. The world system of doing business and survival, and the people you work with and associate with wants you to stop; your insufficient income, low bank account balance, and the dwindling profits you make want you to stop; the high cost of living wants you to stop; your spouse, children, and family wants you to stop; loneliness and shame and humiliation wants you to stop; your friends and associates want you to stop; only Christ Jesus by the reason of His love and power wants you to go forward and not stop; Christ wants you to determined to move forward.

The friends of Job wanted him to stop trusting God and admit sins he never committed, but Job was determined to continue trusting God and his end was far better than the end of those who wanted him to stop. Your day of vindication is coming soon as you refuse to stop trusting God. In Exodus 14:15, God told Moses, before all the elders and the children of Israel, despite the Red Sea, despite the approaching Pharaoh, his armed men, the heavily equipped horses, their fierce weapons, the memory of the past, and the fear of being killed by the armies, or the Sea, go forward, keep moving, don’t stop, don’t go back, and don’t surrender to fear, intimidation or any form of uncertainty by what they saw. This is what Moses told the people after receiving the encouraging word from God; “Moses answered the people, do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Then the Lord said to Moses, why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelite's to move on.” Exodus 14:13-15

Age will want to stop you; seasons will want to stop you; time will want to stop you; Satan and his agents want to hinder you; location will want to stop you; frequent disappointment will want to stop you; frustration will want to stop you; failed promises will want to stop you; delays in manifesting dreams, desires, denied promotion and answer to prayers will want to stop you; lack of money will want to stop you; sickness and unending pains will want to stop you; resistance and lack of respect you deserve wants to stop you, but God wants you to continue, He wants you to continue in faith, to continue in believing and acting out His words and commands. In doing that, in continue in faith, in continuing on His words and His commands, in being determined to remain faithful and committed to Him, you will also enjoy His grace and see His blessings.

I might not be able to be what I want to be, or where I want to be but I am determined to keep on trying every day; I might not be able to have what I want, and may not be able to meet my needs, but I am determined to keep on trying; I know I might lose all things while trying but I will do all I could and be determined to gain all things through Christ Jesus. I might be disqualified by men for not meeting any of their set standards, I may be humiliated by the system put in place to vet me, to vet my qualifications, my speech, and my accent, I may be too poor to compete and I may even be rejected and isolated, but I am determined to go forward, I am determined to be what God wants of me and what God wants for me, and I will see His blessings in my life.

Paul said -- “Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake, I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I want to suffer with Him.” Philippians 3:8-11. For prayers, Click here
