“And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you abundantly, and make your name great, exalted, distinguished; and you shall be a blessing, a source of great good to others; and I will bless, do good for, benefit those who bless you, and I will curse, that is, subject to My wrath and judgment the one who curses, despises, dishonors, has contempt for you. And in you all the families, nations of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3. God promised Abraham and He kept His promise and fulfilled all of them; every word and promise of God to you, for you, and through will be fulfilled, God will keep them and keep you until you see them and receive them. God lifted Abraham up and sustained him high; God will lift you up and He will keep you high despite the troubles and the schemes of the enemies to bring you down. God opened up the doors of grace and opportunities for Abraham and made him to benefit in all of them; God will open up doors and opportunities for you that will not be closed by adversities of any kind or by anyone irrespective of their position, wealth, power or authority. God led Abraham out of where he was according to His words and plans and He kept him out forever and safe for his own good; though Abraham did not know the way to the place God had asked him to go but one thing is very certain, Abraham did not miss his way, he did not miss the place and he did not miss all the purpose God had set for him. You may not know the way or the place God had designated for you, or the purpose things are happening this way in your life, but it is very certain, you will not miss the way God had planned, you will not miss the place He had designated, and you will not miss His purpose in your life. God will be fulfilled in you, through you and with you.

All that Abraham knew was that God spoke to him, that God promised him and that all he heard were true, real, possible and achievable and that the rest was in God’s hands depending on the actions he will take from them onward. God took Abraham and his wife and Lot who followed him to a new place entirely, not because Abraham wanted a change but because God wanted it for him and had planned it; it was a place God had promised in His words and there, He blessed Abraham him; it is certain God will move you when He wants and He will settle you where He had destined, He might even decide to do right where you are right now, He knows you and He knows His plans for you and He will do them. God made every provision available wherever He took Abraham to so that His name will be glorified, His plans will be evident and His purpose will be fulfilled. Abraham’s movements were not to glorify himself but to glorify God; it was not for Abraham to be known but for God to be known and in doing that, Abraham was never put to shame by his actions, never destroyed by adversities and adversaries. God will be known in your life and in your case, that is what God wants and that is why He gave you the promise.

Abraham acknowledged God in his ways, accepted God’s words, followed it, and practiced it. He never gave up hope, never gave up the word, never gave up the promise, never stop believing and never stop trusting, he never stopped praying to God about His words and His revealed plans. “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life worth living and tranquility and prosperity they will add to you. Do not let mercy and kindness and truth leave you, instead let these qualities define you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn entirely away from evil. It will be health to your body, your muscles, all your inner parts and refreshment, physical well-being to your bones.” Proverbs 3:1-9. God has not changed His plans for your life.
