What have you been mourning over all these years and days and how long do you want to keep mourning them? How long do you want to keep mourning over past failures, disappointments, mistakes, disqualifications, humiliations, shame, delays, losses or mistreatments? You cannot and should not dwell in the past because there is a future for you despite your mistakes and the injustices and the delays you have suffered. You have had enough, it is time to set yourself free and let go of the past for God to give you a new direction and a new blessing that will surpass the one you have been mourning over and to take you to the future in His design and desire and willed just for you alone. Remember that what had been declared impossible by men to happen in your life and in your case before can be turned around and made possible by God. It is time to give yourself the freedom you deserve, it is time to move over these things and it is time to have a better life and take a better chance and focus at the new level of good things God is taking you into in life. Remember that God will not take away what you already have without a concrete plan to replace it with something far better and more prestigious, and when He finally takes the previous one out, He will definitely replace it with a new one without failing irrespective of what Satan or anyone of his agents in any realm may say to you, think of you, or do against God’s plans or against you in that same situation. Before Saul was found to be failing in obedience and patience, God had seen, chosen, and prepared David to replace him while Samuel was mourning after realizing Saul had failed. In his days of mourning, God said to Samuel, you have mourned long enough, it is time for something new to happen, it is time for someone else to take over and I have chosen and also fully prepared that someone for the job and for the position; God told Samuel, it is time for Him to act and to carry out His plans for the future and I have acted; it is time to be relieved from all the pains and anger of mourning, and it is time for someone new to take the place of Saul.

In your case, it might seem God is not seeing your mourning or struggles; it might seem He is not interested in your affairs, in your desires and in your situations; it might seem to you that He had forgotten all about you and had refused to listen to the cries of your heart every day and if He heard, He had effused to give you answers that will gladden your heart. You may have been duped or cheated upon; you may have been unjustly treated and continuously frustrated; you may have been shamefully used and dumped by people you trusted and relied upon for help; you may have been unjustly dismissed, disqualified, denied, rewarded or disappointed and for all these and more, you have mourned and still continue in mourning, God is saying to you right now, how long will you keep mourning, because you have mourn long enough? Like Samuel and Saul in the choice of David, God is doing something new in you, with you, for you and to you, and He will inform you of that new thing as He told Samuel. The Almighty God who is your Savior had seen your hearts, seen your desires, heard your prayers and He will not leave you to continue in that same state of mourning. You have mourned long enough He said. Samuel knew how he prayed before Saul was chosen for the job; he knew how he confronted the people to accept God rather than man; he knew how he presented Saul to the people, and he remembered what God told him concerning Saul and he was disappointed that Saul failed and mourned. But God gave Samuel a direction on what to do after asking him to stop mourning. God is going to give you a new direction from today that will enable you to completely get over all forms of mourning in your life and profession and marriage and finances. “Now the Lord said to Samuel, you have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king.” 1 Samuel 16:1. Whatever God had destined for you will not be taken away from you, be strong, you will get past the things that cause you to mourn. For Prayers, Click here
