IRREVOCABLY BLESSED

Post date: Oct 9, 2012 8:37:29 AM

There are several indicators in the bible to confirm your irrevocable blessings from God despite what the devil may be doing and despite what you are going through right now. Examining these great scriptures each day gives me more confidence and joy to write to you and to declare to you the next level of your life despite what your feelings and present experiences in life may be. Throughout scripture, wherever there is a pronouncement of an irrevocable blessing upon any one, the devil quakes and evil workers set themselves up to revoke or reverse it. In all their past strategies, they never succeeded in reversing even one, and I am convinced they will never be able to reverse yours as you stand to claim them in Jesus Name.

We read in Genesis twelve the irrevocable blessings upon the life of Abraham and how the devil stood up against him in several things but were not able to reverse the blessing. Isaac inherited the blessing and was challenged by the devil in several ways also but never able to change the blessing. By a divine choice, Jacob inherited the blessings also and was hunted down by the devil but they could not reverse the blessing. These are evidences to show that despite all the attacks, nothing will be able to reverse the blessings on you. This is one of such declarations “For I am the Lord, I do not change; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6

Despite the anger of the devil from the pit of hell, despite your current lack of job, spouse, home, children, education or things that gives you joy, you have an irrevocable blessings from God.

By a divine providence, when Jacob was blessed by his father Isaac, Esau his brother rose up to ask for a reversal: “Then Isaac trembled and shook violently, and he said, Who? Where is he who has hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate of it all before you came and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed.” Genesis 27:33. Those were the words of Isaac to Esau after he had given Jacob the blessing. Esau his twin brother asked for a reversal, could you imagine brother against brother? Who is asking for the reversal of yours right now? Just as Esau failed, they will also fail, because you are one of the sons of Jacob washed in the blood of Jesus Christ.

The next was Balaam, a soothsayer/prophet hired by a king called Balak to stop the advancement of the sons of Jacob. Because of the continuity of the irrevocable blessings, Balaam was a complete failure. He confessed “You see, I have received His command to bless Israel. He (God) has blessed, and I cannot reverse or qualify it” Numbers 23:20. Those were the words of Balaam to Balak. Are people hired to frustrate, stop, delay, condemn, and destroy you and your reputation? Remember, because of the power of an irrevocable blessings, Balaam did failed, all hiring’s put together to stop you will also fail.

May I declare to you that, whatever God had done for you and to you cannot, and will not be reversed. They are final and nothing can make God to change His mind on you and on the blessings He had pronounced on you. Not even the most potent persuasions like that of Esau to Isaac, enchantments like that of Balaam, accusations like that Balak, denials like that of the disciples of Jesus Christ, and frustrations from those who hate you and wish you evil, will be able to bring a reversal to God’s blessings upon your life.

Despite our past and present failures and weakness, despite our present poverty and lack, despite our several disappointments and denials, despite the power of the enemies working to bring us to shame and disgrace from all fronts in all areas, there are many things in us they will not be able to reverse despite their several attempts because we are the sons of Jacob, redeemed from sin and the powers of failure through the blood of Jesus at Calvary. Jacob told Esau “Yes, and he shall be blessed” the blessings upon Jacob’s life is irrevocable despite the many reasons you may give.
