"ADVANCING BEYOND THIS, THAT’S GOD’S DESIRE (II)"

Post date: Apr 10, 2017 11:41:16 PM

Things may not be working right, but you can move beyond that; things may not be as you had prepared yourself for, but you can still achieve success; things may have stopped working for you, but God had not stopped making new ways for you; things may be very rough and the may be no sign for recovery or breakthrough, but you still move ahead; your dreams may not be what you are seeing and experiencing, but God is still with you in everything; things may not be as you originally planned, but God who works everything right is still with you perfecting His ways and His plans. Though the enemies or the economy or regulations had hindered your dreams and visions, though the lack of help is hindering you, though people with contrary ideas are working to stop you; though the date of your take off and arrival keeps changing because of unforeseen problems; though you keep missing the marks you set for yourself and your children; though you are unable to meet with what is required, God had not stopped and will not stop lifting you up.

God had reconciled you to Himself through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, through the salvation of your soul the day you repented and asked for forgiveness, through the regeneration of your heart by the power of His words, and through the goodness of His amazing grace. You will live to see the freedom God had given you; you will live to enjoy the benefits of knowing and working with Christ Jesus; you will live to say it is good to trust in the Lord our God, and you will live to experience the blessings that only God through Christ Jesus can give. The steps of the righteous are always ordered and directed by God; they may sometimes knock their feet on stones, but they will receive healing and keep going forward; they may step on traps intended to destroy them, but they will recover from every effect of that trap and still move forward; they may sometimes fall or go astray in ways that are humiliating, but through grace they will get up and still continue the journey towards the promised place of God for their lives. The righteous never gave up because of their God; they never look back because Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life; never look at setbacks as a failure because Jesus Christ had finished the work of their redemption from every adversity and set the pace for them to follow.

Isaac needed water for himself, his servants and his cattle’s; he open the wells of his father which had been closed dug many himself, but the enemies kept closing them up. Isaac never gave up digging another well despite being frustrated by the people; he never stopped digging in another place despite the previous ones being taken over by the people; he never gave up despite all the experiences until he found the one they could take over. In all Isaac never gave up trusting God depending, following and obeying Him. “Then Abimelech said to Isaac, go away from here because you are far too powerful for us. So Isaac left that region and camped in the Valley of Gerar, and settled there. Now Isaac again dug and reopened the wells of water which had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, because the Philistines had filled them up with dirt after the death of Abraham; and he gave the wells the same names that his father had given them. But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of flowing spring water, the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, the water is ours. So Isaac named the well Esek because they quarreled with him. Then his servants dug another well, and they quarreled over that also, so Isaac named it Sitnah. He moved away from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over that one; so he named it Rehoboth, saying, for now, the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be prosperous in the land. Then he went up from there to Beersheba. The Lord appeared to him the same night and said, I am the God of Abraham your father; do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless and favor you, and multiply your descendants, For the sake of My servant Abraham. So Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord in prayer. He pitched his tent there, and there Isaac’s servants dug a well.” Genesis 26:16-25. For Prayers Click here
