BEFORE YOU CONDEMN, CONSIDER THIS – GOD HAS PLANS (2)

“But the Lord says, do not cling to events of the past (in your life), or dwell on what happened (to you, to your marriage, to your job, to your business, to your finances, to your health, to your spouse, the disappointments, the disgrace, the insults, the rejections, the shame) long ago. Watch for the new thing I am going to do (things that will amaze you, things that will give you victory, joy and gladness, things that will lift you up from every obscurity and keep you up, not things that will again take you down and make you sad). It is happening already—you can see it now. I will make a road through the wilderness (a place of loneliness, uncultivated, uninhabited and uncertain) and give you streams of water there. Even the wild animals will honor me; jackals and ostriches will praise me when I make rivers flow in the desert to give water to my chosen people. They are the people I made for myself, and they will sing my praises.” Isaiah 43:18-21

God will make a way even when it seems there is no way, even when you are lost and uncertain, even when there is no one to help, or support you; God will make a way even when you have been abandoned in the depth of floodwaters; God I will make a way even when you find yourself suddenly in the depth of the ocean of afflictions and wicked people; God I will make a way even in the troubling nights and the toxic people and environments; God will make a way even when you are have been mocked, shamefully treated, used, and dumped. The living God you serve will make a way, He will not just point you to the way, He will take you through it safely.

God is not waiting until the flood comes, He is not waiting until the pains overtake you, He is not waiting for your cry, neither is He waiting until you complain and pray before making a way for you to come out or overcome the situation. He had already made for you and He will lead you through that way. One thing I know of my Lord is that He not only points to the way to go, He asks you to follow Him and He takes you through the way to the place. Satan will only point you to the ways he wants you to take but will not take or follow you there. Whatever God asks you to do, He will take you there, He wants you to follow Him there, He wants to lead you there, He wants to guide you there, and He will secure you through all you will ever experience in that way when you follow Him.

Let them condemn you, they will waste their resources, they will spend their energy, they will waste their time, but in all that they will ever do to or against you, do not condemn yourself. God has a plan with your name on it and His plans will work out despite the perfection of their plans and powers and their best to bring you to shame, dishonor, and disrespect. Daniel knew what his enemies were planning, he was unable to stop them and God did not stop them either, but in the end, God gave Daniel the honor and the respect he deserved. “(You) Israel, the Lord who created you says, do not be afraid—I will save you. I have called you by name—you are mine. When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you, your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you. For I am the Lord your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you. I will give up Egypt to set you free; I will give up Ethiopia and Seba. I will give up whole nations to save your life, because you are precious to me and because I love you and give you honor. Do not be afraid—I am with you. From the distant east and the farthest west, I will bring your people home. I will tell the north to let them go and the south not to hold them back. Let my people return from distant lands, from every part of the world. They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory. Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the vine. In the same way, you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me.” Isaiah 43:1-7; John 15:4-5. For prayers, Click here
