What is it that you have noticed in your life and you desire to have it in an increasing measure? What is it that you have heard from God that you are ready to go for right now? What truth is it that you have heard about yourself from others that fascinate you and you want it to grow more in you? What word have you read from the bible that inspires your curiosity to see them fulfilled in you? Every word of God either to you directly or to others will never go unfulfilled, but for them to be fulfilled, you have to do something tangibly. There are several things in life that we ignorantly have neglected and such things are powerful enough to make us better each day. Everyone had missed at least one opportunity in life but thank God for those who are still living to see this day and to read this devotional, God has not closed those doors, we can still take advantage of them by acting on them accordingly right now.

Every good thing you discover in yourself is capable of affecting your life greatly if you are willing and determined to go for it with all your strength believing and trusting in the faithfulness of the God who had placed such things in you before your discovery. The treasures of God in you are real and very true, inexhaustible and powerful enough to transform and affect everything about you positively. I am convinced that if we all would put in all that we already have to get to where and what we want to be, we will get them done to the fullest, or we will at least make significant progress each day. I am also convinced that if we will put equal amount of energy each day to improve on our strength as we do to overcome our weaknesses, we will also be making great progress every day.

Let us look at this parable of Christ Jesus about the kingdom of Heaven, the treasures, the man and the merchant; “The kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field. Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46

What we discover in the word of God about ourselves will mean nothing to us until we get it. The word of God will not profit us anything if we fail to get it into our heart and actions. Our dreams and visions will not come true if we fail to pay the full price in accordance to God’s requirement. Whatever God had revealed to you in dreams, vision, prophetically or through His revealed word are true, real and very possible but will never produce the expected profit if you do not give yourself to ways that are pleasing to God in seeing them fulfilled. We are required to give up some things to get that which had been revealed to us and confirmed by God’s words. In the passage above, the man sold all he owned to buy the field, and the merchant sold everything he owned to buy the pearl. What are you ready to give up so you can get what you want from God? What do want to give up, to get your freedom, your spouse, your health, your next job, your next promotion, restoration and retention?

God gave us an example in His instruction to Abraham for the blessings to be fulfilled in his life and his generations. The word was, give up all to get all. “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Genesis 12:1. God will never ask for what you do not have. Do you need salvation, give up unbelief, do you need peace, give up evil confrontation; do you need progress, give up fear and doubts. You can own what you have discovered. Walk with God in obedience, what you have discovered is meant to bless you and not to destroy you, act on them wisely.
