“Therefore all who devour you shall be devoured, and all your foes, every one of them, shall go into captivity; those who plunder you shall be plundered, and all who prey on you I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: It is Zion, for whom no one cares. Thus says the Lord: Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his dwellings; the city shall be rebuilt on its mound, and the palace shall stand where it used to be. Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small. Their children shall be as they were of old, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all who oppress them. Their prince shall be one of themselves; their ruler shall come out from their midst; I will make him draw near, and he shall approach me, for who would dare of himself to approach me? declares the Lord. And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.” Jeremiah 30:16-22. Those who mock me, beware my God is still alive.

There are people using your current situation to laugh now but that laughter will soon be over soon. There are people abusing you behind and in your front, saying all manner of evil against you not because you have not made any effort to change things in your life, but because you have suffered undue delays, have been severally disappointed, your rights had either been denied or forcibly taken; and your efforts always meets disgrace and frustrations; but that laughter against you will stop very soon. There are those who are celebrating that you have been stuck in your debts and will never come out; have been stuck because you are unable to meet the demands of your profession; have been stuck in unfaithfulness, untruthful and unfriendly relationship; stuck in poverty, in anger, in wickedness, in weaknesses, in homelessness, in joblessness and you have been stuck with stubborn, unproductive and unimpressive children, spouse, profession, job or barren, but through divine grace in Christ Jesus, you will get out from such situations soon, but those devour you have have to beware.

There are things that God will never overlook on earth indefinite despite man’s acceptance and approval and irrespective of your level of tolerance; there are people He will never allow to go free except they come to full repentance and restitution irrespective of their income, name, profession, wealthy and location; and there are people He will never fail to restore, never fail to bless, and never fail to use again irrespective of their numerous troubles, uncounted disappointments, unholy frustrations and unending delays. These are people He had put His seal on the day of their salvation, the seal He had prepared for them long before they were conceived in their mother’s womb, and long before they started experiencing whatever they are experiencing right now.

Before God promised to give Abraham and Sarah a son called Isaac, He knew they will never fail to have one, all they needed to do was to persist longer, keep trusting and keep holding Him to His words, and thanks be to God they did have their Isaac, the promise of God for your life will come, those devouring you now beware. God know you will have what He promised that was why He did promise you in the first place, all you have to be doing is remind Him of your expectations in Him after your salvation, do not look back and do not regret and do not seek alternatives as Sarah did. God will definitely give you exactly what He promised.

Long before Hannah was laughed at by others as a woman without a child, and long before her husband decided to console her because of her condition, she knew she could have a child; she knew there was nothing medically, physically and spiritually wrong with and in her womb, she knew she could be able to nurse a child and God knew He will definitely give her children and joy the rest of her life; all she needed to do was to seek an audience with God before Eli and to cry her heart out before God instead of men, and when she did, God open the doors of her womb far beyond what she asked for and what people thought of her. Hannah gave birth to Samuel. Those who mock me, beware my God is still alive. For prayers, Click here
