Through reading from the Old Testament scriptures, through the working of faith and believing the word of God as true, through constant hearing the word of God in the synagogue, through the knowledge impacted by God’s word, Mary knew for certain that a Messiah will definitely, she knew that a deliverer will definitely come from God, she knew that the coming Messiah will be born by a virgin, she knew that the Messiah will save Israel and the world, she knew the Messiah will be a Prophet of God, she knew the Messiah will be a man, she knew the Messiah will be called Emmanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace, she knew that the Messiah will have dominion over all things. She also knew the Messiah will suffer many things and be rejected and killed and she knew the Messiah will resurrect and live forever, and through faith, she expected to see the Messiah come in her lifetime, but one thing she never in any way expected was that she will be the one to conceive the Messiah, she will be the one to give birth to the Messiah and she will be the one to care for the Messiah until the day she had a visitation by the angel of God and the words she heard from the angel that day.

This is the Old Testament scripture that informed Mary of the coming Messiah; “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign, listen carefully, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel, God with us. For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, He shall rule on the throne of David and over His kingdom to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7

Did you know a vision from God can and will definitely change you? Your vision can change the things you know before and now and change the ways and what you have experienced in life? Did you know the Almighty God is today speaking through visions and dreams and confirming the same through the Scriptures? Did you know visions and dreams are being confirmed every day by many people around the world? I am praying God to give you a vision that will change you, not the one that will only excite you; give you a vision that will change what you know and change the wrong things you have accepted in your life and situation as normal; a vision that will change your everyday experiences, and a vision that will change everything that had frustrated, insulted, and humiliated you. You will give birth to that new vision.

This was the vision and visitation that changed Mary; “During Elizabeth’s sixth month of pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin. She was engaged to marry a man named Joseph from the family of David. Her name was Mary. The angel came to her and said, greetings the Lord has blessed you and is with you. But Mary was very startled and disturbed by what the angel said and wondered what this greeting might mean. The angel said to her, don’t be afraid Mary, God has shown you His grace, you have found favor with God. Listen you will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of King David. He will rule over the people of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end. Mary said to the angel, how will this happen since I am a virgin? The angel said to Mary, the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you. For this reason, the baby will be holy and will be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:26-35

After the vision and hearing the message, this was Mary’s acceptance speech; “I am the servant of the Lord. Let this happen to me as you say, according to your word. Then the angel went away and left her.” Luke 1:38. The word of God you accepted will come to pass. Prayer Request Click here
