LORD, I HAVE A QUESTION TO ASK (III)

Post date: Oct 7, 2014 8:38:34 PM

What should I do Lord next? There are endless things to do in life to secure an absolute freedom from the current bad situations, but not until we rightly do what had been pre-assigned by our Almighty Father to ensure our destinies in life are fulfilled in a godly acceptable manner, we will ever receive the breakthrough we so need and so much desire. Actualizing your destinies should be a serious matter to every believer in Christ Jesus because God will never compromise His words and promises and we should never ignore seeking to know exactly what to do in life.

Destiny is never a matter of chance but a matter of discovery of who you were born to be, what you were born to do, what you were born to accomplish through what you do, what you are doing right now compared to what you were born to do and what you are right now compared to what you were born to be, who assigned the destiny, what relationship you have with Him and what impact is He making in your life right now. God does not want you to walk aimless doing nothing, He does not want you to emulate others in their business or be engaged in doing things that will not lead to your being fulfilled. Destiny is a matter of discovery, ask God questions concerning the destiny He had fashioned for you in life and He will gladly lead your steps from today to the place and to the people that will rightly help you. God desires you take the path that He had destined, not the path that others are taking.

Destiny is determination to take the necessary steps towards the goal that is set before you by God. After discovery comes the determination to pursue knowledge with regards to what you have discovered. This will require asking many questions to know more, questions to have more clarity into what had been revealed, and questions to know where to begin implementing your discovery, how to begin, what to do thereafter; there is no question that God will never give you an answer because He desires your success, and desires you to be at peace with what you do, peace with yourself, and peace with others. Did you know that many people are not at peace with what they do despite earning fat salaries from what they do? Let your determination in life be in line with what God wants you to be and to do in life.

Taking hold of your destiny will definitely require giving it your absolute focus, setting up standards to follow while deliberately avoiding attractive things that are aimed at distorting your focus and taking your mind, your heart, and your strength off the track that God had set for your destiny to be manifested to something else entirely. Many people are failures not because they do not know what to do, but because they are doing what they were not destined to do in life. Check your priorities and be focus on that which you have discovered will ensure your actualize your destiny with peace and joy while still remaining useful in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Actualizing your destiny will definitely require making sacrifice like Peter did. Discover your destiny and sacrifice on it. The God who did that of Peter will do yours. “One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God. He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish. Master, Simon replied, we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again. And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear. ---When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said; ---For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. Jesus replied to Simon; don’t be afraid, from now on you’ll be fishing for people. And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.” Luke 5:1-11. Prayers, Click here
