AND I WILL REJOICE OH LORD

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts. The latter splendor of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place I will give prosperity, says the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:8-9. The blessings of Hannah far exceeded every imagination and every expectation, this will happen to you as we call upon Him in prayer as Hannah did, the Lord will do it. Is there anything too hard for God to do? You may not have the same situation like Hannah, but you definitely have the same God who hers and answers prayers. He answered Hannah when she prayed, made her to rejoice beyond her expectation and completely gave her a new language, a new joy, a new countenance and a complete turnaround in life, He will do the same to you in your own situation, what this same God did for others, those you have heard with your ears, seen with your eyes and read in books, He will do the same for you. Remember you were not born to watch others succeed and rejoice in life. You were born to be successful and to rejoice as others and to even exceed them in glory.

The best place to take your expectations, pains, desires and demands to, is before the presence of the Almighty God in submission and sincere prayers. It is true that Him alone has all the solution to all of your troubles, has all the answer to all of your questions, and has all the correct direction to deliver you from every crossroad and confused situation in life. His doors are forever open to everyone who will dare to knock, His ears are ever attentive to every word you will dare to speak, and His hands are ever ready to guide and lead you to the place of your expected joy. He has never turned anyone back in anger and will not turn you back in your frustration. Everyone who goes to Him gets peace, joy and a clear direct in return.

“Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:35-36. God alone is able in all situations to give man all the desired and deserved freedom, God alone can give you all the spiritual, physical, financial, marital and material freedom without having to demand anything in return, and He is willing to give that to you if you will believe and follow Him. The fullness of your joy is not dependent on what you have been able to achieve, what you can and will do hereafter, but it depends on what God can and will do in and through you. He is willing to use you and to present you to the world as he did with Hannah for His Glory through your submission. Your joy is only in the hands of the Lord God Almighty and the truth is that, He is not willing that the devil will hold you hostage indefinitely.

There are certain things in life that will forever keep you restless, confused, sad and unhappy despite all your accomplishments in life, and not until you truly identify them, place them at the feet of Christ Jesus Christ through prayers, wait patiently on Him for the evidence of His answer as Hannah did, your other accomplishments will not set you free. Though Hannah was well off in her husband’s house, but she was held captive by her lack of a child. Jacob said to the angel after an all-night struggle, unless you bless me, I will continue with you in this struggle, I will not let you go, and in response his name was immediately changed to Israel.

Mary and Martha said Jesus Christ, if you were here when Lazarus was sick, our brother would not have died, but Jesus answered with assurance; “Your brother shall rise again”. John 11:21-13. Many have forgotten that there is something called joy in this life. The Lord Jesus Christ will begin to restore the good things that had eluded you all this years. “I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who are His servants and by your prayers, put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, keep not silence, And give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7. This is your time of full restoration and everlasting rejoicing. For Prayer Click here
