Before Mordecai was taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar into Babylon; before both parents of Esther died and she became an orphan; before she was adopted by her uncle Mordecai; before the former queen rebelled against the king, and before Esther ever thought she could be the next queen and married to a king in a foreign country, God was there and had prepared her purpose, her destiny, her place and the power she will have to overturn decrees, overturn imaginations, and overturn evil plots against His people. The Almighty God we believe and serve is always ahead in every situation His children are involved in irrespective of the location, the people, the language, and the intent. He is there to fulfill His plans; He is there to use what had already been designed by Him to fulfill His purpose and He is there to use whom He had destined to carry out His plans. The physical situation might seem as God is totally absent, but He is not, His silence does not mean He will not act or has handed you over to the affliction permanently. The delays to your requested prayers does not mean He will not answer at the appropriate time. He is the God who always answers prayers at the right time, in the right place, and before the right audience so His might may be seen and known by all men particularly those involved.

Long before the conspiracy to kill the Jews began, long before Haman came to know the king and started his hatred and evil plot to hang Mordecai started, God had begun implementing His plans to set the Jews free from that plot and to turn the plot against Mordecai on Haman. God began His plans by His design and the promised destiny of Esther. Let it be known to you that God already has His plans perfectly in place for your blessings, freedom, healing, and justice despite what you are seeing and experiencing right now. God’s plans will not fail irrespective of the strength, wealth, location, position, law of the land, and the powers of your enemies.

Before Esther was conceived in her mother's womb, God had a plan, a purpose, and a destiny for her to fulfill; before she was born God made a promise that nothing can change the purpose He had perfected in His plan; before Esther became the queen, she was perfectly designed by God to be beautiful; unknown to anyone, before she set her feet on the place of God’s purpose in her life, God had set the occasion that will bring out for what He had designed in her life. In all aspects of life physically and spiritually, Esther was a unique design by God that nothing was able in any form to change, not adversity, not the death of her parents when she was a child, and her being adopted and raised by a poor uncle. In all instances, God was ordering her life, ordering her steps and keeping her ahead so His plans could be fulfilled.

Esther was uniquely designed to be physically and spiritually beautiful, humble, and in character obedient and submissive. Her physical beauty did not make her proud of her looks, stubborn, and arrogant to her uncle or anyone. It did not make her feel superior in any way because of what she can do with her beauty. She was humbled enough to accept and follow her uncle's instructions to pray, to fast, and to abide by every word her uncle told her. Though she was beautiful and on the path of being a respected queen, she even listened and accepted the advice from her maid on how to conduct herself and what to wear. Irrespective of who you are, how you look, what you do, your location and profession, humility before God will lift you up and can exalt you before men. It will help take you to the place God had destined, it will help establish you where God had promised and it will promote you in the eyes of men. Humility is not foolishness as some may think and say. It is one of the fruits of the Spirit of God in us. “In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:5-7. For prayers, Click here
