PRAYER AGAINST EVIL FAMILY AND ANCESTRAL TRANSFER

Post date: Sep 10, 2013 4:06:31 AM

All that Jabez was experiencing in his life which compelled him to pray was nothing else but a transfer of an evil family and ancestral problem. He was not moved to pray by greed, jealousy, or emulation. He was moved by a strong desire to overcome and to change what he knew and saw, and did not like in his own life not that of the family, to make a difference that will change his own life history and affect his children positively thereafter. He did not ask that his name be changed, but his situation should change and his expectations confirmed. Is that your prayers?

Jabez was not only born into a family with a lingering ancestral problem, but his parents moved with great anger, gave him a name that reflects the situation the family members were going through; there is something in a name. This family problem was not brought forth by him, it had been there long before he was born, but in the best state of his innocence as a new born baby, he was forced to carry the anger the rest of his life by the name given to him by his parents. There are many people who are going through similar situations in their lives in various ways today. The ancestral family problem had been transferred into their own lives by reason of being born into that family and nothing else. Many today are physically and spiritually carrying those harsh punishments of these protracted ancestral family problems. It is time to call for a clean and holy break from the past and present evil in your life, which is what Jabez did in one prayer.

Just like their parents or ancestors, many have experienced mounting struggles in almost every aspect of human living; uneasy problem in finding a suitable marriage partner, unabated problem after marriage with spouses, with children; problem in maintaining a healthy relationship over a period of time, problem in completing a desired professional education or training, problem in health, in making and keeping money, in securing wealth, and many more are even worse off than their parents despite the numerous excellent opportunities they have encountered in life. Many have seen themselves become a complete replica of the evil in the family instead of the good, and despite their struggles, things are not better, their successes, their craved joy, and their esteemed healthy condition are always short lived. This must change.

You cannot afford to remain in that same way, by God’s love and design, you were born into that family not to continue in the evil ancestral ways, but to begin a new standard of measurement and reference for the entire family; you received salvation with a clear divine mission, you were completely delivered from the past and present ancestral problem by the shed blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary the day you were saved, to exceed those marks of your parents, your ancestors and other family members, and that is what you will do from now on in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am sure this is the day and the month that the Lord God Almighty had destined for your complete freedom from all that is called evil past and ancestral hindrances. The word of God for you is to hold on and exercise your faith in holy prayers. “Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, declares the Lord. In those days people will no longer say, the parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes, their own teeth will be set on edge.” Jeremiah 31:28-30

Yours might not be in the name given to you, or in something you easily know about, but as Jabez was answered and saw the results, you will also have the answer and see the result of your prayers. Jabez saw something in himself that was not comfortable, could not be tolerated and allowed to lingering longer. He saw a family anger, a family curse and pains interfering in his life, ambition, aspirations and expectations. “His mother had named him Jabez, saying, I gave birth to him in pain” 1 Chronicles 4:9. He did not like what was going on and needed a permanent change by partnering with God for better results. For Prayer Click here
