SATAN WILL NEVER FEAR YOU, BUT,

Post date: Aug 16, 2013 4:05:16 AM

Do not expect it, do not ask for it, the devil will never fear you, but will definitely fear and completely respect the God in you. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, the hope of sharing in God’s glory. Power is indispensable and in high demand by everyone. It’s demand cuts across all classes, the rich and the poor are alike in this demand, those in authority as well as those outside authority needs it till this very day, and people are ready to pay the price to get it. It is wrongly assumed by many that with power you command the respect you need and the wealth you desire. Power in wrongs hands is one of the greatest problems in the world today. The devil will never fear you despite your wealth, but he will definitely fear and respect the God in you.

While God uses His power to create, to bless, to set free, to lift up, to establish, to sustain and to proclaim His everlasting love and mercy to mankind, the devil needs that same power to do just the opposite, oppress, take away that which is good, acceptable and gladdening to the heart, sent untold hardship and havoc into the lives of men, hold captive perpetually, and stop everything that God had given to you. But despite the powers out there, the God in you is all the power you need to defeat and bring under your feet all other powers.

When the Almighty God dwells in you, all of His power and authority will also dwell in you. He cannot dwell in you and deny you His power and authority, He cannot dwell in you and keep His blessings away from you perpetually, He cannot dwell in you and leave in any satanic captivity and bondages for too long, and He cannot dwell in you and forget your immediate and long term needs. When He dwells in you, He will declare your liberty in the spiritual and physical things you will ever need. Where He dwells, there is peace, direction, victory and success.

People are in need of power for various reasons. But the greatest assurance for the power that is above every other power is in God dwelling in you. The greatest confidence and the great peace you need to stand up and make a difference and move on to see your dreams, visions and desires fulfilled as they were spoken to you by the Almighty God is when He dwells in you. There is no power as effective, no joy so fulfilling, no hope so elevating, no victory so sweet as that when God dwells and work in and through you.

People are looking for power for various things in their lives. While some are seeking power to improve their daily lives and be free from the effects of negative things in their lives, other are looking for power to cause evil, harm others, stop others from progressing and making impacts in their area of choice. You do not need to go to any medium to seek for power, you need to surrender to Him and ask Him to fill you with Himself.

The mystery is that Christ living in you, you share in God’s glory. When the Almighty God was dwelling in Christ Jesus our Lord while on earth, He made the difference everywhere even in the grave, and even in your present state, He is ready. “He brings down powerful rulers and reduces them to nothing. They are like young plants, just set out and barely rooted. When the Lord sends a wind, they dry up and blow away like straw. To whom can the holy God be compared? Is there anyone else like him? Look up at the sky. Who created the stars you see? The one who leads them out like an army, he knows how many there are and calls each one by name. His power is so great, not one of them is ever missing. Israel, why then do you complain that the Lord doesn't know your troubles or care if you suffer injustice? Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The Lord is the everlasting God; he created all the world. He never grows tired or weary. No one understands his thoughts. He strengthens those who are weak and tired. Even those who are young grow weak; young people can fall exhausted. But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.” Isaiah 40:23-31. For prayer Click here
