ABRAHAM WOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED A FOOL BUT GOD (1)

Like Abraham, you are in God’s program to end well despite what you have seen, experienced, heard, and said concerning your life and situation. In all things, God’s grace is always available, always sufficient, and always changes people and things. His grace cannot dwell in a place and remain dormant or fruitless, it cannot be contained under darkness and kept from the eyes and knowledge of men. Whenever God intervenes directly in a person's life, that life must definitely change for the best; when He intervenes in a situation directly or indirectly, the situation will never remain the same again, it must definitely change for the best. God will never leave the place of His intervention the same, He will not leave the life of the person He intervenes without an honor that surpasses imaginations and dreams, and He will not leave anyone without a choice of whom to follow. You have a choice to make always before you and now is the right time of the day to make the choice and follow it through. The destiny of your decision to follow God’s word and His commands in your choice will always take you higher and keep you higher. All that God requires and demands of us is total obedience even when the decision to obey His word and follow His commands will not favor us initially, but it is very certain that at the end, irrespective of the forces working against us, the result will be to our advantage and blessing bigger than whatever we can and will imagine them to be.

People are waiting to see you manifest what God says of you; they are waiting to see in your life what you say of your God; they are waiting to either call you a fool, a failure, a disappointment, or call you the person whom God had blessed; they are waiting to see what you will become, and by the power of the Almighty God, they will see you transformed, blessed, and lifted up above them in all things in this very generation; they will see God confirming His words and promises to you, they will see that you are not a failure, a fool, or a disappointment in any way. They will see you raised from grass to grace, from a small faith to a mountain-moving faith, from being a failure to having successes, from being denied to be being accepted, from not having anything to having more than enough and giving out; through you, they will decide to be submissive to God of God and follow His commands as we see in the life of Abraham.

Abraham was a human being like us; he saw and experienced all the ups and downs of life and of living, but Abraham decided to grow His faith, walk on that faith, rest his life on that same faith, sacrificed all for that faith, depend on that faith by obedience, following the instructions and commands of God in His word. If Abraham did not succeed in his life of faith and obedience to the word of God, men would have called Abraham the greatest fool in history, they would have called him stupid, a man without the ability to reason, and his name would never have been in the bible as a record of someone whose life became better than he first started. When it comes to receiving salvation, remaining saved in His righteousness, look unto Jesus Christ, accept Him and His words in your life, remain steadfast in Him, and continue walking in obedience. Jesus Christ is the source of all things and faith in Him is the beginning of wisdom and blessings and power to get wealth. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.

When it comes to receiving the fullness of the promises of God despite delays and frustrations of life, and all the hardships, look unto Abraham and follow his obedience. “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord, look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you; for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For the Lord shall comfort Zion (you); He will comfort all her (your) waste places.” Isaiah 52:1-3. For prayers, Click here
