DON’T FORGO YOUR BETTER DESTINY

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate by perversion, nor those who participate in homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers - whose words are used as weapons to abuse, insult, humiliate, intimidate, or slander, nor swindlers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God. And such were some of you before you believed. But you were washed by the atoning sacrifice of Christ, you were sanctified, set apart for God, and made holy, you were justified, declared free of guilt in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit of our God - the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior. Everything is permissible for me, but not all things are beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be enslaved by anything and brought under its power, allowing it to control me.” 2 Corinthians 6:9-12

Irrespective of the situations in your life then, now or in days or years ahead; irrespective of the challenges you will or have encountered in your profession, workplace, home, marriage, finances and in your job or job search; irrespective of your location and insecurity there; irrespective of the painful humiliations, several disappointments, hunger, pains, insults, loneliness, sickness, lack, and insufficiency, there is a better destiny for you in Christ Jesus, a better plan for your life, a good plan for your success and a better purpose for you to hope for, desire, dream for, work to achieve and live to experience. Christ Jesus came into the world and lives to give us better things to rejoice with while Satan lives to give alternatives that will eventually destroy our life even when we are still living. Satan always gives alternatives that will harm us when we experience delays and are depressed by our failures, disappointments, lack, and insufficiencies.

The reason for the salvation of your soul was to enable you physically and spiritually fulfill God’s better plans and purposes that will be of great benefit to you and bless your life, and it is very certain that God will not fail in your case now and in the future as He had never in any way be a failure before. Your salvation through the working power of Christ Jesus in you will not fail you; your belief and trust in Christ Jesus and in His words will not fail you either even when you are being resisted and tempted daily by Satan and even when you experience severe delays in seeing the benefits of your Christianity fulfilled.

There are several challenges everywhere, temptations on every side, offers for physical gains and rewards, people and offers and things that are contrary to what you know and what you heard from God and what you also believe in His word. There are pressures for you to change your mind and heart to follow their ways; there are pressures for you to think as they think, act as they act, follow their ways instead of following Christ Jesus, following His words, and following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and there are pressures for you to please them even when such will mean you are displeasing God.

I want you to know that God did not bring the children of Israel out from Egypt to destroy them in the wilderness but to take them to a place of their physical destiny as He had promised. and God did as He had promised through Abraham. God will do for you as He promised through Christ Jesus. Do not allow the current pressure of life to make you forgo the better destiny you have been promised through Christ Jesus which is inherent in your salvation. God will surely give you all the help you need; He will surely deliver you from this temptation and the ones to come; He will surely defend you on every side, and He will surely take you through every form of temptation and pressure from Satan against what He had destined for you in life physically and Spiritually. Note, every alternative that Satan will give to you will lead to the forgoing of your better destiny in Christ Jesus. For prayers, Click here
