God did bless Abraham as He had promised not because He spoke to Abraham or because He promised Abraham but because of what Abraham personally did after hearing God’s voice and the promises. The blessings of Abraham was as a result of his action after hearing God speaking to him that day. Every word of God spoken to you will be fulfilled irrespective of the situation in your life and your location and every action you take in following the word of God will lead to the place of your destiny in Him irrespective of the uncertainties you have or the fears that seem to prevents you. Every spoken or written word of God has a clear message, a clear purpose, a clear destination and it will surely reach where it was meant to reach, touch whom it was sent to touch, bless whom it was sent to bless, destroy what it was meant to destroy, establish whom and what it was meant to establish; it will surely yield God’s expected result irrespective of the words and works of the devil to hinder it.

God did not speak to Abraham just to make him a happy person, He spoke so that Abraham, and whoever will follow him because of these words would have a new life, would have and also experience something new and better; would have hope beyond where he was; would have a new and permanent change. He spoke so that Abraham would have a new relationship with Him the rest of his life. God spoke to Abraham because He wanted to start something new, something He would be proud of, to raise a people He would call His own and a generation that will give Him all the praise and honor He deserves. God spoke to Abraham so that through him, God will show the world His power, His might, His love, His faithfulness, His ability, His will, and His purpose on earth. He spoke to Abraham for a purpose and He is speaking to you also for a purpose that is bigger than your thoughts, imaginations, and abilities.

This is the realities we have as believers in and followers of Christ Jesus; When we believe as true every God’s word, we are believing in a destiny that is true; when we follow God’s words, we are following a destiny that will not fail but will surely come to pass; when we hear God’s words, we are hearing a destiny which is very possible; when we act on God’s words we are acting to towards actualize the destiny it was sent to actualize; when we accept God’s words, we are accepting a destiny which we will come to see in our lives; when we reject God’s words for any reason, we are rejecting the possibility of a new destiny it was sent be bring in our lives. God in His love sent His words to us for a purpose and He spoke to Abraham for a purpose which he lived to see in his live and in his generation. “He sent His word and healed them, and rescued them from their destruction.” Psalm 107:20.

The word of God can heal, it can destroy, it can make new, it can relieve, it can set free. Healing is not only limited to sickness in our bodies; it also heals our lives, relationships, our marriage, our family, our finances, and our souls. It releases us from afflictions, from sorrows, from pains and from the humiliations and shame of disappointments and failure. It relieves our mind from worries and hopelessness, and from the feelings of the disappointments we suffer. There will always a positive result when we act according to His words; there will always be a positive result when we follow is words, there will always be a positive reward when we refuse to turn from following Him and from believing His word. “The prophet who has a dream may tell his dream; but he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat for nourishment? says the Lord.  Is not My word like fire that consumes all that cannot endure the test? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the most stubborn rock in pieces? Behold, I have received His command to bless Israel. He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.” Jeremiah 23:28-29; Numbers 23:20. You will not miss any of God’s purpose as you keep your focus on Him despite all these troubles. Prayer Request Click here
