FROM GOD’S PROMISES TO GOD’S DREAMS

Keeping the promises of God for your life alive will definitely involve many practical things that you will have to do, some of which must be a constant reminder of yourself every morning of the each new day, everywhere you go and in every situation that you will ever find yourself. Reminding yourself what God had promised is a task that should draw you closer to Him every day, keep you relevant in accessing your ways and keeping yourself free from things that will condemn you; pull you down on your knees in submissive and true prayers; encourage you to fellowship with others in love and in godly patience.

Reminding yourself every day of God’s promises will result in your having real dreams of its subsequent fulfillment despite the delays, the frustration, the denials, the wickedness around you today, and despite whatever you are passing through right now. Reminding yourself not only of the promises but go beyond and remind yourself also of the assurance that all will definitely come to pass while you are very much alive, very much active and very much able to make good use of them in glorifying and promoting His name on earth.

Be assured that God had not changed His mind concerning the promises because of the delays, neither will He change His words concerning you because of the time and concerning the things He had promises you because of the situation. The passing of years does not in any way make any of the promises of God invalid, the afflictions of men and the daily condemnations of men, the numerous delays and the various denials will not stop Him or hold Him back in your case.

When the promises of God turns to a dream, never loss hope and never fail to keep trusting God for them, remember that the same God who gave the promises is also giving you the dream as a reminder and source of courage. In dreaming about them, you are receiving the ultimate spiritual assurance of their possibility of manifestation. If God will not fulfill them in your life, He will not give you the promise and will not remind you in your dreams. The dreams are to encourage you, keep you hopeful and enable you to believe in the possibility of seeing their fulfillment.

This is what is written in the scripture about the children of Israel concerning God’s promises to Abraham; “When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream. We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said what amazing things the Lord has done for them. Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us. What joy, restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.” Psalm 126:1-6

When God called Abraham, He gave him several promises, many where fulfilled in his life after several years and those that were not fulfilled were handed over to the next generation and they continually reminded themselves in prayers, and God also did remind them in their dreams until all were fulfilled. They thought the dreams were not going to be fulfilled, but contrary to them, God was still faithful, loving and did fulfill them.

The result was an amazing restoration, this will be your in Jesus Name; great laughter instead of sadness, gloom and rejection, a song of joy instead a song of grief and pains; others started talking good about them and joining them in the celebration of their God instead of fighting to destroy them, enslave them, deny them and put them to shame;

In that process, God did restore their lost fortunes like a mysterious sudden steam in the desert restoring everything on its path, giving hope and renewed life to the people, refreshing the soil, the plants and bring back all lost glory. It brought back the joy of planting and the hope of a good harvest. As the Lord His promises into dreams, in your life, He is about to fulfill them.  For prayers, Click here
