STOP THE FEAR, YOU WILL GET OVER

Post date: Jan 18, 2013 5:10:42 AM

Christ did not walk on water because He wanted to show the world that He can, He walked on water because twelve of His faithful and obedient servants were in jeopardy when carrying out His instructions. He can walk on the waters again just because of you. Christ will never abandon, He will never forsake, and He will never forget anyone consistently walking in obedience to any of His instructions despite the delays, the frustrations, the confrontations, and the displeasure they may experience in life. In every case, in every situation, in every location, in every language and in every profession, He will always intervene positively at the appropriate time, He can and He will walk on waters again in order to rescue you if need be.

There is no other life better than the life of a Christian, and every Christian should desire making an impact in their lives and that of others. Enjoying a successful working relationship with God will require nothing else but a personal spiritual and physical discipline, obedience to His words, consistency in love and real patience with self, others and with God. Besides these four practical ways of living, walking with God will never be possible. Those who practice these four things constantly will surely experience what others only wish their lives. For those who have taken this decision, God will ensure that they are successful, irrespective of the attacks from the power of darkness to hinder and render them useful in life and in service.

“Then He directed the disciples to get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent away the crowds. And after He had dismissed the multitudes, He went up into the hills by Himself to pray. When it was evening, He was still there alone. But the boat was by this time out on the sea, many furlongs [a furlong is one-eighth of a mile] distant from the land, beaten and tossed by the waves, for the wind was against them. And in the fourth watch [between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m.] of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, It is a ghost. And they screamed out with fright. But instantly He spoke to them, saying, Take courage. I Am, Stop being afraid. And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. He said, Come. So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus.” Matthew 14:22-29.

God will never ask anyone to do anything that is not benefiting to that individual. Every physical and spiritual obedience to the word of God carries a tremendous amount of reward, and every consistent endurance on those words calls for a godly intervention and assistance.

Get ready, despite your years of living in fear and frustrations, despite the disappointments and the delays in manifesting the promises from God, the time to reach your goal (assigned godly destination) in life is fast approaching, the crossing month, day and time is her for you this year. You may have been hindered, but you will reach there, you may have been frustration, but you will make it, you may have missed several opportunities, another one is coming. The word from Christ is “get over to the other side” and nothing else. The devil cannot stop you when walking in full obedience to the word of God though he will always try. You have been delayed for so long, but you have not missed anything that God had designated for you in life. The other side you have asked and worked for; the other level of victory and joy that had escaped you, the other level of recognition that overcomes all the obscurities you have suffered for so long, the other side of life that Christ desires and wants to see in you. This is the reward of your consistent.

There is no situation in life that we will not be able to overcome when we walk in obedience with God constantly. Despite the rising of the waters and the tossing of the boat, despite the waves and the wind, and despite their fears, they arrived safely at the other as instructed by Christ. To show the victory, Peter also walked on the same waters he feared. I am sure you will arrive safely at the other side of joy as you walk in obedience. Amen.  For prayers Click here
