"THIS AUGUST, THE LORD WILL DO WHAT HE HAD DESTINED"

Post date: Aug 1, 2018 3:47:44 AM

“Zechariah said to the angel, how can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years. Then the angel said, I am Gabriel, I stand in the very presence of God. It was He who sent me to bring you this good news.” Luke 1:18-19. This month, you will hear the news of your long forgotten prayers and expectations; you will have the real experience of the true power of the living God in your life addressing your long-standing situations, taking away your shame, turning your sorrows into joy, bring you into what God had said of you and not what people had said of you, establishing you in His presence, in His purpose, and in His desires for your life. The desires of the devil over you will fail; the desires of your avowed and strong enemies will not stand against you; the plans to bring you down and keep you down will not be established, the things God had given to you freely, by grace or through labor which had been taken from you will be restored. this month, God will not only restore your lost dream, He will restore your confidence in seeing those dreams fulfilled and He will pen up doors that will bring you up and keep you till they are fulfilled. He holds the keys to our glory and He will not deny you what He had promised you openly, secretly or silently. He did it for Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth; He will do it also for you. Your prayers and desires may be different, but the Lord who is also our God; He is good, He is merciful, He is able, and He is forever willing to do yours in amazing ways also as He did theirs, nothing is too hard for Him to do.

God has a date, a time, a location and a moment to take you up from every affliction, deliver you from every sickness and weakness, set you free from the chains of the devil and set your feet on a higher ground for His glory. He will not allow that date, that time, that location and that moment to pass you by without you seeing and experiencing His plans for your life. There are silent promises, hidden promises and there are open promises to every one of us from our Lord and none of them will be taken away from you for any reason. The Lord who had promised you will fulfill His words and the same Lord made and saved you will also keep until the time of the fulfillment of all of His promises to you. Times and tides will pass; favorable and unfavorable things will happen, expectant dreams may be forgotten because of delays, your shame may have persisted for too long, injustice and long-suffering may have killed the desires for better things in your hearts, but nothing will kill or destroy the plans of God and the promises of God for your life. Zechariah and Elizabeth had lost dream and forgotten desires fulfilled but at the right time moment, God did what He had promised. God has plans and things destined to be fulfilled in this month in your life and He is giving you the grace to see this new day and this new month for that purpose. What He had planned, He will do and what He had said He will fulfill.

“When Herod was king of Judea, there was a Jewish priest named Zechariah. He was a member of the priestly order of Abijah, and his wife, Elizabeth, was also from the priestly line of Aaron. Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God’s eyes, careful to obey all of the Lord’s commandments and regulations. They had no children because Elizabeth was unable to conceive, and they were both very old. One day Zechariah was serving God in the Temple, for his order was on duty that week. As was the custom of the priests, he was chosen by lot to enter the sanctuary of the Lord and burn incense. While the incense was being burned, a great crowd stood outside, praying. While Zechariah was in the sanctuary, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the incense altar. Zechariah was shaken and overwhelmed with fear when he saw him. But the angel said, don’t be afraid, Zechariah, God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John. You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. For prayers Click here
