STOP THIS THIEF BEFORE HE STOPS YOU

Post date: Aug 14, 2013 4:07:31 AM

You have a duty to stop the thief in your life because he is all out to stop you and nothing else. “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.” John 10:10a. That is exactly how the Holy Scriptures describes the actives of a thief irrespective of what he may steal from you. This thief had taken much from you already and you must stop him from continuing. Without a wicked intent to destroy you directly or indirectly, this thief will not come near you. But the joy we have as Christians is that his activities had been exposed, his intents had been made known, his methods are all outlined in the bible, and we now know him better than we were previously.

Knowledge is the power that begins the process of genuine transforms, but unfailing and trusted knowledge only comes through the enabling grace of God upon a man. The world is hungry for true knowledge, and the truest and best knowledge anyone will ever have in dealing with this thief is that which is freely given to man by the Lord Jesus Christ. Here is the truth from the Holy Scripture about the benefits of the knowledge that Christ Jesus will give. “I came that they (you) may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows.” John 10:10b. The overflowing of this life is nothing else but decisively acting in accordance to the words of the knowledge given to you by grace in order to stop the continuous devastation of this thief in your life. Without stopping the thief, your dreams and efforts will never yield the desired fruit in many years.

God did not make any mistake in giving you this day; did you know that inside this day are all the blessings of God, all the peace of God and all the fullness of God that had been destined just for you? Your inability to get that which is destined for you is never God’s mistake. It is the hand work of this thief. Fortunately, this thief had been unmasked, identified and described in the Bible for you to know, he is tagged a destroyer of all that is called good, and there is grace for you to succeed in stopping him. It is your duty to arrest this thief.

God did not make any mistake in giving you that spouse; the thief wants to steal him/her from you by causing misunderstanding and you have get rid of everything that cause friction, quarrel, hatred and anger. Show love and maintain it, and the thief will depart. God did not make any mistake in giving you that color, that accent, that nationality and that gender; the thief wants to steal your dignity by making you look inferior to yourself and discouraged. God did not make any mistake in giving that child that is stubborn today; the thief is causing that stubbornness because he wants to take that child from you and you must resist it. God did not make any mistake in placing you in that office, in that profession, and in that location; the thief is making you feel uncomfortable because he want to push you out and disgrace you. God did not make any mistake in waking you up this morning; He wants you take control, defeat the thief and celebrate this day as your day of victory and success. If the day is bad, the devil had stolen your joy

When the devil is allowed into any man’s life, his only duty and assignment is to destroy what the Lord had already given to you, prevent you from receiving what God is about to give to you, and stop you from moving forward. There is no place that the devil will ever visit and depart on his own without being forced out. “For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere. Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger, and, having done all the crisis demands, to stand firmly in your place. Stand therefore; hold your ground, having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God.” Ephesians 6:12-14.
